We absolutely love what we as local residents have been able to accomplish through the Community Builders NZ Trust. We however have to continually chase small pockets of funds, seek out donated assets and time from people to build & sustain the mahi we do for our community. If you believe in what we do, if you see that it's making a positive impact for our community and would love to support a group of hearty residents to enable this mahi to continue on, then we would love for you to consider supporting us financially.
With only 5 Full time staff & 1 Part Time & support from volunteers, our team manages all the operations for the below projects: The Otara Kai Village Social Kai store & cafe, The Otara Bike Burb, The Otara Mara Kai, The Otara Youth Hub, The OKV Boutique, The Clover Park community house, Pataka Kai, MY STREET Otara Movement, Te Puke o Taramainuku Kapahaka Roopu, NCSLV Merch Apparel Social Enterprise, Southside Woke Community Group & we run a huge amount of community events throughout the year and the signature Otara Christmas block lights event every year which brings in 30-40k visitors to Otara each year.
