OUR MISSION
The Community Builders NZ is a registered charitable trust that exists to strengthen & develop the capacity & capability of local residents from our most dis-advantaged communities within New Zealand to become local change makers, with a particular focus on areas like South Auckland, the Far North and Waikato region.
Our goal is to see them become active residents who realise their own potential to make change in their own communities despite the challenges they face personally which will then affect positive change in their own lives. We will also work in partnership with those residents to help alleviate some of the barriers and challenges that they may face in trying to reach these goals by developing initiatives to overcome disadvantage and grow a thriving community in which they too can thrive and reach their full potential.

Working with street leaders to help them discover & realise the assets that already exist within their streets, that can be used to address some of their own local immediate street needs.

Providing resources to strengthen & develop the capacity of local residents to influence change in their streets, the wider community & at policy level.
YOUTH CITIZENSHIP
To work with young people and conscientious them on how to tackle the problems they face and enable them to become active citizens in their communities.

Strengthening the connection between people and the places they live in and share.
COMMUNITY WELL-BEING
To support the advancement of youth, whanau and community well-being by providing community events, services and projects.
