Built in 1915 as a private residence, Clover Park community house was purchased in 1976 by the council to operate as a community house.   At that time the council recognized the community needs of the rapidly expanding area and the fact that residents would be somewhat removed from vital community services.  It was officially opened by Worship the Mayor Mr, Lloyd Elsmore on 1st April 1978 after the successful opening of the Mangere Community house on Robertson Rd.  The Clover Park Community house is owned by Auckland Council but managed by The Community Builders NZ Trust.

The Clover Park community house is proud to offer an affordable place for the local community to hire and enjoy and its doors are always open to new events, activities or groups.  This is your place to gather and grow.  Nau mai, haere mai.
