ISTANBUL PROGRAM OVERVIEW

​​OVERVIEW:
Istanbul Youth Summit 2025 is the eighth international summit organized by Youth Break the Boundaries (YBB) Foundation in Istanbul.  This summit will
encourage future leaders who break the boundaries of their abilities to discuss and take action in Innovation and Collaboration: Unlocking Youth-driven Solutions for Sustainability. 

With these themes, IYS 2025 also encourages young people from all backgrounds and sectors to collaborate together and utilize their leadership capabilities in helping and realizing to make sustainable development goals become achievable.
Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are sustainable development efforts that become a reference in the framework of development and negotiations of countries in the world as a substitute for the global development of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) which ended in 2015.  The SDGs have several goals, including Education (SDG 4: Quality Education), Health (SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being), Economy (SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth), and Environment (SDG 13: Climate Action)
PROGRAM DETAILS:
All accepted ETL representative's selected will be put into groups with other young leaders from around the world where they will work on a social project together to be presented at the summit.  Post the summit all ETL rep's will have the opportunity to explore & experience Istanbul.

We will be taking 10 young leaders to the 2025 youth summit.

+ Arrival in Istanbul, TURKEY:  16 Feb 2025
+ Summit Dates: 17-20 Feb 2025
+ Post Summit Istanbul Tour: 21-25 Feb 2025
+ Depart Istanbul, TURKEY: 26 Feb 2025
+ Participant Age: 15-27 years old
+ Participant Numbers: 10 spaces available (5 Boys | 5 Girls)

​​PROGRAM FEE:
All ETL representative's leaders selected will be required to fundraise with the support of ETL for the cost of this trip.  The cost will be $5000 which includes: Return airfares, Summit Fee (includes summit accommodation, all meals, organised tour of Istanbul), Post summit accommodation, Food stipend allowance, In country transport, Sim-card with unlimited data & Activities.

​Program Fee:
ETL Selected recipients will be required to fundraise for the cost of this trip.  The cost is $3500 which includes: return airfares, accommodation, travel insurance, sim card with unlimited data, in-country transport, food stipend allowance and 5 day unlimited attraction pass.

Throughout your time in Seoul, Korea, you’ll be supported by the ETL Global Travel staff.  Our onboarding weekend will immerse your group in the amazing Korean culture, learn how to navigate the city and sort all your essential needs.
If your application is successful, you must register with https://safetravel.co.nz prior to departure.  We will require you to attend onboarding and induction workshops in Auckland before you leave for Seoul, Korea.

​Accommodation:
+ WIFI, accommodation, food, in-country transport, sim card included
+ A fully furnished room with your travel team: cookware, bedding all included
+ Great location in the middle of Hongdae shopping street with lots of excellent local food and shopping options and close to transport.
